Caitlin Clark may not be playing a lot of basketball this offseason, but she continues to make headlines with her activities away from the WNBA.
The Indiana Fever star, who played just 13 games last season due to a groin injury, opted not to play in any other tournament as she continued her recovery. The 3-on-3 Unrivaled league — which is set to kick off its second season on Jan. 5 — reportedly pursued her, but to no avail.
Clark has since recovered from her health issue and joined Team USA's training camp earlier this December in preparation for the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup. Still, it doesn't seem like she plans to play this offseason competitively.
That being said, Clark is keeping herself busy with other commitments. Back in November, Clark participated in the pro-am that preceded THE ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican Golf Club. More recently, she also starred in a Nike advertisement.
Now, it appears Clark also recently worked with Gainbridge Sports for another advertisement. Photographer Bri Lewerke, who has frequently covered the Fever, shared photos on Sunday that she took of Clark for the partnership.
"Photoshoots with your friends. @caitlinclark22 shot for @gainbridgesport," Lewerke wrote, along with several shots of Clark wearing a matching white top and shorts while handling a basketball.
The photo drew plenty of reactions, with one fan saying, "Love the whole look - gives the best tomboy vibes."
"Omgosh!! I’m obsessed! That’s our bad ass Iowa girl!!" a commenter wrote. Another one said, "In the words of @caitlinclark22 'bang'!"
"Omg this is literal perfection!!" a supporter remarked.
A fifth poster shared, "Omg!! These pics are so cool and also so beautiful!! My gosh, I can’t wait for the next season!! Thanks for sharing, CC looks amazing!!"
For what it's worth, Clark also reacted to Lewerke's post and expressed how much she loves the photos.
"Fyeeeeeeeee," Clark added, along with several fire and red heart emojis.
The final advertisement and finished product of the shoot have yet to be seen, but there is already plenty of excitement surrounding it.
