Olivia Miles’ Strong Opinion About Caitlin Clark Resurfaces

Amid the ongoing MVP battle, a clip of Miles discussing the greatest women’s college basketball player of all time has resurfaced on X. The video dates back to Miles’ interview with The Daily Mail in April, shortly after the WNBA Draft.

Miles was asked to choose between a series of prominent women’s basketball players via a bracket-style format before the field was eventually narrowed to Clark and New York Liberty star Breanna Stewart.

Miles had plenty of praise for Clark during the exchange, but when forced to make the final choice, she selected Stewart. 

“See, this is hard,” Miles said. “Caitlin has the scoring, the assists. Stewie has four chips and four MLPs. I’m just gonna have to go Stewie just based off her dominance and winning.”

Clark’s Iowa career ended with her as the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer, while she became a two-time national player of the year and led the Hawkeyes to consecutive national championship games.

Stewart’s college résumé is different but arguably even harder to match. She won four national championships at UConn, was named Final Four Most Outstanding Player four times and became the only player in women’s college basketball history to win that honor in every tournament she played.

Both stars have carried that dominance into the professional game. Stewart is an eight-time All-Star and two-time WNBA MVP, while Clark has been selected an All-Star in each of her three seasons in the WNBA and is now making an MVP push.

As for Miles, she starred at Notre Dame before transferring to TCU, where she returned from the ACL injury that cost her the 2023-24 season and helped the Horned Frogs make a deep NCAA Tournament run.

Minnesota then selected her No. 2 overall in the 2026 WNBA Draft, and she has immediately become one of the most productive rookies in league history and an MVP-favorite.
