Dallas Wings guard Paige Bueckers has established herself as one of the best players in the WNBA. Playing in her second season in the league, Bueckers has started 44 games between the two years, scoring 19.3 points per contest to go along with 5.3 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals.
She was an All-Star Game and All-WNBA Second Team selection last season and won the WNBA Rookie of the Year award after an incredible season.
So far this season, she has been the star of the show for the Wings, helping them to a 5-3 record while leading the team in points.
On Saturday, Bueckers was asked about her debut jersey selling at an auction for $64,720, which set the record for game-worn authenticated jerseys in women's sports, and she said she couldn't believe it.
"That's insane to me, just thinking about it," Bueckers said, per The IX Sports reporter Melissa Triebwasser. "That much money is insane to me. I'm just feeling very grateful and feeling blessed that people are that invested in women's sports. You can see the rise in popularity, the growth in respect. I wouldn't even pay $10 for my own jersey."

Bueckers has turned into one of the biggest stars in women's sports, especially the WNBA, during her short professional career, which is exemplified by her jersey selling for a record price.
Through eight games, Bueckers has led the Wings to the fourth-best record in the league, just one game behind the Minnesota Lynx for the top spot in the WNBA standings.
Dallas will be back in action on Monday when it takes on the Seattle Storm at 8 p.m. ET in Arlington, Texas. The game will be broadcast nationally on USA Network.
