Rhyne Howard Sends Clear Message About Teammate Amid Future Free Agency

The Atlanta Dream are starting to find some momentum to start the season, and they're currently on a four-game winning streak. Their latest win was against the Seattle Storm, where they were down by 17 points in the third quarter, but ended up coming back and winning by 13 points.

It was Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray who led the comeback for the Dream, as they combined for 61 points in the game. It was their first game this season where they both had big games at the same time, and the hope is that this continues throughout the year.

Gray specifically has played in the past few games for the Dream, and she's putting up career-high numbers. A social media user noted that after this season, Gray will be a free agent, and she may be one of the most intriguing players on the market.

"Allisha Gray will be a unrestricted free agent next season, and Atlanta better make sure they lock her in. If not, she’s going to be one of the most sought after players on the market," the user wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Howard responded to the tweet, saying "She'll be back," as she seems confident that her running mate will re-sign with the Dream when the time comes. It would be ideal for the Dream to do whatever they can to bring back Gray because of how important she's been to the team since getting traded there.
