The Chicago Sky acquired guard Jacy Sheldon from the Washington Mystics on Saturday in exchange for a 2028 first-round draft pick.

Sheldon, 25, has averaged 6.3 points, 2.2 assists, and 2.0 rebounds in 70 career games (43 starts) with the Dallas Wings (2024), Connecticut Sun (2025) and Mystics (2025).

"Jacy made an impression on us with her toughness, competitiveness and ability to compete on both ends of the court," Sky general manager Jeff Pagliocca said. "She has proven to be a great young player who can shoot the ball and defend in this league. Jacy fits what we are looking for seamlessly."

Sheldon was the No. 5 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft by Dallas out of Ohio State.

Chicago opens the 2026 regular season on May 9th on the road against the expansion Portland Fire.
