WNBA Attendance Report (June 23 Update)

After six weeks, eleven teams have increased their attendance from 2023. Meanwhile, only Minnesota remains below their 2023 final average (-156). The Indiana Fever has seen the largest increase from last season with a 311 percent increase. Furthermore, second is the Dream at 64 percent followed by the Liberty at 61 percent. Overall, the league’s average attendance is up 39.1 percent from their final average from 2023. The Fever also lead the league in away game attendance at 15,412.

Below is the graphic comparing to the 2023 season’s final averages. The reported capacity numbers for each arena are based on the team’s arena being fully open. Capacity numbers are provided by each team’s individual arena’s website. Newly added is each team’s away game attendance as well. The Week Ahead

This upcoming week will see 11 regular season games played. However, the league’s Commissioner’s Cup Final will be taking place on Tuesday, June 25 (8:00 pm on Amazon Prime). The ION Friday double-header will see The Sun taking on the Dream (7:30 pm) and the Sparks heading to Phoenix (10:00 pm). Additionally, Sunday will see a double-header on ESPN with the Dream at the New York Liberty (1:00 pm) and the Fever at the Phoenix Mercury (3:00 pm).
