Candace Parker has had an incredible career in the game of basketball. After a high school career that saw her win the Gatorade National Girls Basketball Player of the Year at Naperville Central High School in Illinois, she went on to play at the University of Tennessee.
There, she won the John R. Wooden Award twice and led the Volunteers to two NCAA Tournament titles. She was the Tournament Most Outstanding Player both times as well. After being the top pick in the 2008 WNBA draft, she led the Los Angeles Sparks to a WNBA title, and then won one back in her hometown of Chicago, before going to Las Vegas and winning one with the Aces.
At 39 years old, Parker has a bunch of career ahead of her, and some are questioning if coaching is in the cards for the retired basketball star. While Parker doubts she would coach in the WNBA, she does reveal two teams she would love to coach. She discussed those teams on the "Post Moves with Candace Parker & Aliyah Boston" podcast.

Those two teams would be the Indiana Fever and the Las Vegas Aces. The Aces were her final team in the league, and then her opportunity in Indiana would be with her friend Boston, along with Natasha Howard and second-year star Caitlin Clark.
Boston has been strong in Clark's absence this season. The 23-year-old is scoring 15.2 points per game and ripping down 8.2 rebounds. Last week, Boston had a monster pair of games with 27 points in a win over Seattle, and 22 points and 11 rebounds in the win at the Los Angeles Sparks.
Clark has only played 13 games this season. She has not played since July 15th with her groin injury. In her 13 games, she scored 16.5 points and dished out 8.8 assists per game. Boston and Clark's Indiana Fever squad sits 21-20, which is 8th, for the final playoff spot. Los Angeles is 19-20.
As far as Parker's vision to coach Las Vegas, the Aces will head into a home game against Minnesota on Thursday as the winner of 12 straight games.
