Cameron Brink was admittedly a little uncomfortable with one of her team's recent ads.
On the latest episode of her "Straight to Cam" podcast with Sydel Curry-Lee, the LA Sparks star reacted to the franchise holding open try-outs for male practice players to help give the franchise a look ahead of the 2025 season.
Typically, LA would just bring in young men from USC to work with the ladies on their roster in the past. But opening it up to the public has Brink a bit concerned given the weird comments she's seen from people online.
"I guess my confession is I'm really icked out by the potential new practice players," Brink said. "It's basically just like a flyer. It's like me, Dearica [Hamby], Rickea [Jackson], and Kelsey [Plum]. And it's like, male practice players wanted."

"All the comments are like, 'Let Cameron Brink back me down,' or something about Rickea or something about Kelsey. And I'm just like, preferably they're gay," she laughed. "Who are we trusting coming into this gym?"
"I'm not boxing anyone out," the 2024 No. 2 pick concluded. "Lynne [Roberts], our new head coach, she's going to be screaming at me for not rebounding. But I'm not boxing out anyone."
As talented as she is on the basketball court, the former Stanford All-American has received just as much (if not more) acclaim from male viewers for her appearance — as evidenced by the reaction to her engagement last year.
Some of it was all in good fun, but a lot of it definitely crossed the line into creepy.
No matter what you think of Brink and the ladies in The W as far as attractiveness, they're still professionals trying to do a job and the last thing they should need to worry about is harassment in the workplace.
Hopefully whatever guys the Sparks let in are vetted and warned about the team's expectations for them.
