If you're looking for work, it may be time to start training to be a WNBA mascot.
Over the weekend, Front Office Sports shared a job listing recently posted by the expansion Golden State Valkyries who will be paying their in-game entertainment between $130 and $160 per hour.
The Valkyries are hiring a mascot ahead of the team's inaugural season in the WNBA.

It didn't take long for fans to start updating their resumes on LinkedIn.
"$160 an hour? They definitely shootin you out of a cannon, bubba," a user said.
"Alr, do i come out of retirement?" another asked.
"If this was in Milwaukee, I'd be all over it," a fan admitted.
"When i tell you i love the Philly phanatic and have always wanted to be a mascot—"
"I will forever be upset that I missed the Butler mascot tryouts ever year at Butler for 4 years, because I was too busy celebrating my birthday," another person shared.
"I'm boutta apply ! [Expletive] it !" another user commented.
"Y'all got a moving bonus?"
"I'll let you drop me from the rafters for $160 an hour," another fan exclaimed.
In fairness, a team's mascot is a pretty high-profile position (and it's in the San Francisco area).
The Valkyries will tip-off their first ever WNBA season May 16 against the Los Angeles Sparks at the Chase Center where they'll be led by veterans like Kayla Thornton and Temi Fagbenle — along with 2024 second-round draft pick and former Iowa star Kate Martin.
