A WWE press release has revealed that Lucha Libre AAA will have a new home in Mexico, Central America, and South America in 2026 and will start airing on FOX. AAA was acquired by WWE back in April and has since blended Lucha Libre stars with members of the RAW, SmackDown and NXT rosters.
#LuchaLibreAAA arrives on FOX in 2026 for México 🇲🇽, Central and South America! 🌎@LuchaLibreAAA llega a @somos_FOX en 2026 para México 🇲🇽, Centro y Sudamérica 🌎More details / Más información: https://t.co/1y7x7TE6TUpic.twitter.com/SZ4S4AGF2Z— Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (@luchalibreaaa) November 25, 2025
The announcement on WWE.com states that FOX will broadcast Lucha Libre AAA shows in Mexico and has expanded its offerings to Mexican audiences, the promotion's homeland. The alliance includes AAA's main events, including Premium Live Events such as Triplemania.
AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio, Rey Mysterio, Pyscho Clown, Pagano, Penta, Rey Fenix, Mr Iguana, Vikingo, Lola Vice, La Parka, Dragon Lee and El Grande Americano are the superstars advertised to be in action on FOX. This agreement also means AAA will be broadcast across Central and South America, except in Brazil.
AAA content is available across FOX platforms, including the FOX channel on Tubi, the FOX pay TV channel and the SVOD platform FOX One. The Lucha Libre promotion joins an exciting catalog of sports available to watch on FOX, including soccer from Liga MX, the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League, Ligue 1, the Coppa Italia and other sports such as baseball, auto racing, padel and more.
WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio has reacted to the news with joy by explaining what it means to see AAA broadcast on FOX in Mexico. He said in the press release:
"AAA has been part of my roots since day one and to see it reach new audiences on FOX in Mexico fills me with pride and excitement. Lucha Libre is part of our culture and bringing these stories to a broader audience is just the beginning – the future of AAA is brighter than ever."
Rey was part of the big announcement that came on night one of WrestleMania 41 to confirm that WWE had acquired AAA. He has appeared on several shows since then, and his son, Dominik, has become the AAA Mega Champion.
A dream match could see the pair lock horns for the AAA Mega Championship, but other stars are also shining in Mexico. As it stands, The Lucha Brothers (Penta and Rey Fenix) are set to reunite and face Dom and El Grande Americano at AAA Guerra de Titanes on December 20.
