AEW Dynamite Preview (3/11/26) – MJF/Hangman Adam Page Press Conference
WWE

As the road to AEW Revolution nears, another AEW Dynamite offers us more build, more bangers, and more unpredictability. With another shocking AEW World title change (check out Corey Michael’s results if you are behind), could there be more fuel on the fire that will be MJF vs. Hangman Adam Page? Short answer: yes. More on that later.

With the fallout of that big title change still fresh, we already know there will be a TNT Championship match taking centre stage this week. Given the frequency of title changes this year so far, could we see another shocking title change?

AEW TNT Championship

In another rematch from the 2026 Continental Classic , Speedball Mike Bailey will take on one of the men who defeated them, Hangman Adam Page and Kevin Knight, last week for the AEW World Trios Championship. Kyle Fletcher’s second AEW TNT Championship reign started with broken tables and a ladder climb at Grand Slam. Now a double champion, alongside Kazuchika Okada, Fletcher has the chance for revenge against Bailey.

Bailey scored the upset win at Winter is Coming. It was during the Continental Classic that both members of JetSpeed finished their 2025 season as potential breakout stars this year. Undoubtedly, especially after a standout performance against MJF, Knight has already made himself a future main eventer. Yet Knight has had a string of big singles victories and moments. In 2026, Bailey has primarily competed in tag and trios action. Is this Speedball’s chance to shine?

We already know Bailey’s capabilities after clashes last week against the likes of Okada and in big PPV-level matches. Bailey’s defeat to Samoa Joe earlier this year was not clean and showed Bailey’s promise. Yet compared to Knight’s push, Bailey has seemed content.

Three months on, both men have shifted gears. Whereas the champion now holds two belts, the challenger has lost his and has reason to make it 2-0 against the Protostar. With an AEW World Trios Championship rematch already booked for AEW Revolution, with a new partner for JetSpeed, besides the potential of a banger contest, this feud could be about to boil over.

AEW World Championship Press Conference

With a press conference called between MJF and Page, the AEW World Champion perhaps thinks he has the advantage. With red carpets and countless PR events under his belt, Maxwell Jacob Friedman perhaps feels at home in this style of civil conversation. Throughout this latest leg of this legacy rivalry between competing, mirroring foils, MJF has tried to keep his distance from Page’s world. From initially refusing to entertain a Texas Deathmatch, MJF has preferred to use intelligence.

Yet that, and a double-headed coin, backfired on him once. It could happen again. Page is a lot of things, but never one-dimensional and never dumb. If MJF thinks he will outsmart or outplay a man who struck him with his Dynamite Diamond Ring, that might be hubris.

Page’s history, whether it’s been with Swerve Strickland or more recently with Samoa Joe, Page isn’t the forgiving type. That streak of violence and retribution has been fuelling Page since his dark relapse that pushed the Anxious Millennial Cowboy towards shades of grey. With Page’s future on the line, will the build between Page and MJF echo Cody Rhodes vs. Chris Jericho? Whether it’s a war of words, an ambush, or mutually assured destruction, expect another defining milestone.
