Joe explains why Hook turned on him, and he says that he's surrounded by greatness, and it's about education. Joe says he needed Hook to work with someone who never crosses the finish line; someone who preaches about potential but never quite fulfills it. Joe tells him he's in for a big fight next week but, like always, he'll never cross the finish line. Kingston says he taught Hook to persevere and get things done. He says he doesn't know this version of Samoa Joe and doesn't respect him, and says he's no better than the old heads he used to call out. Kingston says he doesn't bring the Samoa Joe that made him want to wrestle, he's going to eat him alive next week.

Khan agreed, and they'll face off together at Winter is Coming next week for the TNT Championship.
  • The inaugural AEW National Champion, Ricochet, is on-screen talking about how so many promoters have been calling him since he won the title. He says that he's been viral in every company he's ever worked for, and this Friday, he'll be making his Ring of Honor debut against Dalton Castle.
  • After chasing them throughout the evening, "Hangman" Adam Page warns The Opps that they have something awful coming for them. He teases that there is someone who is coming for them, and warns that they should get their affairs in order before next week.

The AEW Continental Classic, Explained

AEW's Continental Classic has been a staple for the company since 2023, establishing the Continental Champion, currently Kazuchika Okada. Competitors take place in Gold and Blue Leagues to determine who will make it to the finals based on a scored points system.

For two years running, the Blue League has succeeded in winning the tournament, but it's truly anyone's game in this tournament. The tournament rolls through the entire month of December, and the winners from each League will face off against each other at World's End on December 27th.
