In fact, amid all the discourse regarding him being in a spot of bother in WWE, Styles recently posted an hourglass picture on his Instagram with his logo. Also, his son concurred with a fan sentiment of Triple H booking Styles in a disrespectful fashion.

At first instance, it wasn’t a cakewalk to decipher AJ Styles’ shoot-style promo on Raw. Could that be the beginning of something good for the ex-Bullet Club leader? One would want to believe it, as Styles doesn’t have much time left on his current WWE deal. AJ Styles signed a year-long contract extension with WWE that set the stage for his Royal Rumble return this year. But was he exploring outside options at any point before coming back? Alba added that Styles was generating interest from the promoters on the convention circuit, and it was mutual. The report from Alba couldn’t conclude whether Styles was looking to wrestle for other promotions or not. Although there’s absolutely no indication about it at this point, the former OC leader might be interested in jumping ship to AEW next year.
