Ahead of their brother vs. brother clash at Wrestlemania 40, Jimmy and Jey Uso’s father surprisingly made a pick for who will win and it is actually quite rational.

Wrestlemania 40 is being set up to be a very entertaining card on April 6 and 7. There is going to be a six-team ladder match for the unified tag team titles. Cody Rhodes will look to finish the story in a rematch with Roman Reigns. AJ Styles will battle bitter rival LA Knight, and The Rock will return to co-headline night one.

However, one of the most intriguing bouts that is flying under the radar is the planned matchup pitting Jey Uso versus his brother Jimmy. Not only is it a clash of brothers, but it is a fight between, arguably, the greatest tag team in WWE history. Furthermore, it is an offshoot of the best storyline of this century.

One man who will be watching the bout closely is 2015 WWE Hall-of-Fame inductee Rikishi. The beloved performer is the father of the Usos and no one would blame him if he chose to remain neutral when it comes to the long-rumored match between his sons. However, on a new episode of his “Rikishi Fatu Off The Top” podcast, the 58-year-old surprisingly made a pick for the bout.

“Jey is having a hell of a year as a single. Jimmy’s the same as far as being involved in the group with The Bloodline and so, to see the steam that Jey is having as a singles career, it only makes sense from a business standpoint. If I was on the board of TKO or WWE, we’d have to go with YEET. I would feel that would be the best business move, to be able to let Jey get the upper hand for WrestleMania against his brother.

Jey Uso being the winner at Wrestlemania 40 really is the best choice, especially since he has connected with fans so strongly in recent months. He consistently gets some of the best reactions during weekly editions of Monday Night Raw.
