Becky Lynch Mocks Maxxine Dupri with Beach Workout Video

On Thursday, Lynch shared a video of herself at the beach, where she at first looks like she is working out with battling ropes, but as the camera pans down, it’s instead a beach towel. At the end, “The Man” is lying on the beach towel, relaxing in the sand. It’s obviously a joke that she doesn’t need to work hard for her match against Dupri. As of this writing, Dupri and Natalya have yet to respond to her video.

Monday could prove Lynch wrong, because Dupri has been hanging out with future WWE Hall of Famer Natalya. Natalya has taken Durpi under her wing, and there isn’t anyone better to teach wrestling. On the other hand, in her last singles match, Dupri lost to Ivy Nile on the July 14 episode of WWE Main Event.

How Did This Match Even Get Started?

So how did Maxxine get caught up in a match against Becky? Well, during this past Monday’s RAW, it all started with a war of words between Becky and Nikki Bella. Lynch made a brutal joke about Nikki’s past failed romance with John Cena. When Lynch went backstage, Natalya called her out with Dupri by her side, and when it looked like there was going to be a future match between Becky and Natalya, Becky turned the tables. She told Natalya that she didn’t want to fight her, but her new protégé. So the feud with Nikki spilled over to the rest of the locker room.

Lynch and Durpi have never been in a singles match against each other. While Natalya and Becky’s last match was the Money In The Bank Qualifying Triple Threat, where they were both beaten by Judgment Day's Roxanne Perez on the May 19 episode of WWE RAW. Anyway, Lynch is just coming off from successfully defending the Women's Intercontinental Championship against Lyra Valkyrie at SummerSlam. It appears her next big challenger for the title will be Nikki Bella, and maybe Natalya and Maxxine will be by her side.
