When you think of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, his impressive physique is usually at the front of your mind. The wrestling legend-turned-Hollywood A-lister has maintained a remarkable physique for years, often sharing his wild cheat days with his fans.
Therefore, you could understand the surprise at The Rock's slimmer, more streamlined physique when he made an appearance at the Venice Film Festival earlier in September. And while most wrestling fans and movie buffs chose to discuss why The Rock had undergone such a big body transformation, former WWE and AEW star Bryan Danielson decided to have some fun with it.

When speaking with Jon-Bernard Kairouz for a recent interview, Danielson joked that The Rock's new look is adding additional focus to the size of his head.
"They're not calling him 'The Rock' anymore; they're calling him 'The Pebble,'" Danielson joked. "I think he looks great. He might just want to live longer...Or, because he's an, he could just be getting ready for a role...Do you know what it looked like to me when I saw that picture? In comparison to the rest. of his body now it looks like he has a big head. Guess what, Rock? You're not so handsome anymore...Didn't it look like a big head?"

Danielson's comments were clearly a joke. He was having fun with a non-story that has become a significant talking point. Nevertheless, for wrestling fans, it was entertaining to see Danielson's humorous side, especially at the expense of another former wrestling talent.
While The Rock didn't elaborate on his new slimline look, he has discussed taking on a different type of acting role in his latest movie. After all, his appearance at the Venice Film Festival was undoubtedly tied to the flick's impending release.
In an interview with USA Today, The Rock discussed his desire to step out of his usual lane for his latest role in "The Smashing Machine."
"I just had this burning desire and this voice that was saying, 'What if? What if there is more? What if I can?'" he said. "A lot of times it's harder for us, or at least for me, to know what you're capable of when you've been pigeonholed into something."
After years as an action star, The Rock is clearly looking to expand his horizons. And that may be for the best, especially if his new slimmer look is here to stay.
