Chigusa Nagayo has wrestled the final match of her career. It was announced at West Coast Pro’s Marvelous Coast event on Saturday night that not only was this the final match in the United States for Nagayo, but it would be the final match of her career. In the co-main event of the show, Nagayo teamed with Takumi Iroha and Queen Aminata in a winning effort against Sandra Moone, Mio Momono, and Masha Slamovich when Nagayo submitted Momono with the scorpion deathlock. After the match, the participants and Nagayo’s trainees entered the ring splashed her, and pinned her in a ceremonial match. Everyone then cleared out as Nagayo thanked the fans for everything. Before the match, Madusa, Dump Matsumoto, and Bull Nakano came to the ring and said a few words. Nagayo started wrestling in 1980 and rose to immense popularity in Japan with Lioness Asuka.
