Coaches Poll Prediction Week 7: How Far Will Texas Drop?

How much thought do the voters put into the Coaches Poll going into Week 7?

Florida State was dropped by Miami, and that was coming off the loss to Virginia. It wouldn't be a big deal to stay in the top 25 as long as it's behind Virginia.

But Texas and Penn State? What now?

The Longhorns only have wins over San Jose State, UTEP, and Sam Houston, and lost to Ohio State and Florida. They might stick around the rankings, but it would only be okay if it's behind Florida.

Forget the 2-3 record, the three Gator losses were to Miami, LSU, and USF, who should all be ranked ahead of Texas (and won't be).

The Coaches Poll usually doesn't drop top teams out of the top 25 altogether at this point in the season, but it's possible.
