Andrew Schulz did not show up to Raw at Madison Square Garden to see Logan Paul. He made that much known as Paul tried to get his so-called friend to vouch for him in front of a booing crowd.
Paul made his way to the ring saying he heard AJ Styles was going to call him out so he decided to beat the man to the punch. Paul said he doesn’t associate with guys like Styles because when people hear Paul’s name, they think of guys like the Rock and John Cena. Guys who have transcended the business and who would do anything to get to the top. Paul said he was shocked Cody Rhodes was dumb enough to say no to the Rock. It took Cena 20 years to realize nice guys finish last but Paul has always known that since day one. Paul called out the Rock saying he could consider his soul officially for sale. Paul said he doesn’t run from opportunities and that’s why he’s in the ring and those fans booing him are in the crowd or watching on TV. He’s the celebrity. He’s the talent.
Paul then turned to Andrew Schulz, who commentary had acknowledged earlier in the night was in the crowd. Paul said he and Schulz were cool, they had done each others’ podcasts. Schulz has a mic as Paul asks him what he came to see. Schulz says he, like the rest of the crowd, was there to see the steel cage match. Paul said, yeah of course, but really, who did Schulz come to see. Schulz tells Paul he didn’t come to see him. He said this was New York City, not Cleveland, Ohio. It was a real city and he was there to see a real wrestler. Rubbing salt in the wound, Schulz said he was there to see Styles.
This didn’t sit well with Paul, who grabbed Schulz and threw him over the barricade and into the ring. As Paul looked to finish Schulz, Styles came out to make the save. He and Paul began brawling. As Schulz cheered on Styles in the corner, Styles hit a huge phenomenal forearm. Styles high-fived Schulz as Paul rolled out of the ring. Styles tried to tempt him back saying he wasn’t finished with him. Paul kept walking away as Styles chastised him, saying Paul said he didn’t run from opportunities. Guess he was going to walk away from one instead. Styles said this was New York City as he raised Schulz’ hand in the air as Paul stared before going to the back.
Backstage, Andrew Schulz caught up with Cathy Kelley and shared that he and Paul used to be friends. Schulz said he was hoping to run into Paul backstage again and this time he’d be ready. Schulz then headed back to his seat to presumably do what he said he came there to do in the first place, watch the steel cage main event. But not before WWE plugged his special LIFE, which is available now on Netflix.
