Dominik Mysterio isn’t just a heel on WWE programming, he acts as a “bad guy” in real life as well. He does that by giving bad advice to children, who like his WWE character.
Speaking to SportsBoom recently, Dominik Mysterio opened up about his heel persona in WWE. Mysterio said he likes being the bad guy more than the good guy, because he then has to care about how other people see him.
“You gotta worry about as a baby face, you don’t want to do things that make you look like a bad guy, because then you don’t want the parents and their children to look into this, and then they’re like, Oh, he’s doing this. You don’t want that. You don’t want your kids to look up to that.”
Dirty Dom turned heel in 2022 after he betrayed his own father, Rey Mysterio, and Edge at Clash at the Castle. Since then, his career has taken a completely different turn. Mysterio has now become one of the most popular faces on WWE television.
In the same interview, Mysterio said that whenever he sees children, he tells them to do bad stuff. Things like not focusing on their grades, disobeying their parents, and just being a bad kid in general. Mysterio said:
“Every time I can, or every time I see little kids, what’s the first thing? When Santa sees a little kid he says, ‘Oh, you better behave, or you’re not going to get presents.’
“Every time I see a little kid, and he’s a Dirty Dom fan, first thing I tell him as he’s walking away, I tell him, ‘You better keep misbehaving. Go do bad in school. Go do whatever you want. Don’t listen to your parents.’ Man, I’m going to create some chaos. Why not?”
Dominik Mysterio is currently scheduled to face John Cena for the Intercontinental Championship at the upcoming Survivor Series premium live event. Here are some possible ways Mysterio vs Cena could end.
