One half of the NJPW World Tag League 2024 finals has been sorted out. Gabe Kidd & SANADA emerged as the A Block winners on Thursday with a victory over Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI, who were looking to win the tournament for a fourth consecutive year. Instead, Kidd & SANADA are heading to the finals for the first time as a team. SANADA is a two-time Tag League winner in 2017-2018 when EVIL was his partner. Kidd & SANADA ended A Block action with a 5-2 record and 10 points. That was good for sole possession of first place at the top of the block. The B Block winners will be determined on Friday with the finals then taking place this Sunday (December 8). Entering the last day of B Block matches, Great-O-Khan & HENARE, Tetsuya Naito & Hiromu Takahashi, and Toru Yano & Oleg Boltin are still alive with a chance to win. O-Khan & HENARE vs. Naito & Hiromu is happening on Friday and will likely decide the block winners, though Yano & Boltin could still force a three-way tie if
