How Will the Miz Solve His Danhausen Problem?

Danhausen debuted at Elimination Chamber with a chorus of boos and confusion. However, he’s managed to get fans on his side ever since through his funny antics and curses that have spelled misfortune for many wrestlers. Two wrestlers that haven’t been on his side since his debut are Kit Wilson and the Miz. In response, he has cursed them several times over the past couple of weeks.

On April 10, 2026, in an episode of Friday Night SmackDown, he had his very first match against Wilson. Through the power of his magical curses, he ended up winning the match. The Miz tried to attack him, but once again got foiled by his escape. He knows the Miz remembers his offer to become his mentor, which he denied. Will this tension be resolved with a match, or will he get the mentorship of a WWE veteran? 

The Miz Will Continue to Fight Danhausen 

Over the past couple of weeks, the Miz and Wilson have formed a necessary alliance. Not only have they been fighting Danhausen, but they’ve fought Jelly Roll as well. Wilson is now 0-2 against both men, which probably makes the Miz very unhappy. So what will he do?

He’ll try to avenge those losses and prove that Danhausen’s curses are just a fluke. He’s continually said that he doesn’t believe in his curses, and he’s clearly unafraid of attacking him. But the problem is that Danhausen’s like a magician.

He’s here one minute and gone the next. The Miz has faced tons of spooky guys in his 20-plus-year career, so he’ll stop at nothing to beat Danhausen one way or another. If he were a rookie or someone less experienced, he would’ve stopped. But his seniority has driven him to fight Danhausen until he loses. 

He’ll Give in to His Pleas for Mentorship 

It’s clear to everyone that the Miz and Wilson are getting frustrated. They’ve tried nearly everything, and Danhausen still comes out on top. The Miz might want to face him, but the result will probably be the same. He says “YOU ARE CURSED”, then wins in wacky fashion.

If that happens, he’ll be completely out of answers. That’s why the mentorship idea could work. Pairing the spooky guy with the man who has been putting guys over for years can help Danhausen in and out of the ring.

The Miz is an encyclopedia of knowledge who has decades of in-ring experience and tons of championships to show for it. Pairing them could lead to title opportunities for Danhausen and perhaps a way to unlock a serious side of him. Befriending the Miz can help him show off a side that many people don’t know about yet. 

What Will He Do in the Upcoming Weeks? 

The Miz is one of the most senior members of the WWE roster. He’s been in the ring with multiple generations of wrestlers. Spooky gimmicks are no stranger to him, so that could be why he’s so unafraid of Danhausen. But at some point, he has to know when to quit before he embarrasses himself. However, it remains to be seen whether or not he’ll make that decision.

He’s a very motivated guy, so it makes sense that he would continue to pursue Danhausen until he wins. Given the embarrassment he’s already endured, he could also accept the mentorship role. Danhausen is a very lovable character, but a heel turn could be an exciting surprise given his persona. The Miz’s teachings could unlock that serious side. No matter what he decides to do, his adventures with Danhausen aren’t ending anytime soon.
