Lacey Evans has responded to Becky Lynch's comments about feuding with her after main-eventing WrestleMania 35 by making public backstage interactions with the WWE RAW star. The former WWE star, who left the company back in August 2023, wasn't happy with Lynch's assessment of their post-Mania rivalry back in April 2019.
Becky Lynch appeared on comedian Bert Kreischer’s YouTube show Something’s Burningalongside her husband Seth Rollins. She tackled several topics, including her WWE career and the decision to book her against Lacey Evans after defeating Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair in the first-ever women's WrestleMania main event.
The Man explained:
"I start working with Lacey Evans right out the gate (after WrestleMania 35). God bless her, but she wasn't, you know... For me to go from the main event of WrestleMania to somebody who hadn't done anything was terrible."
Evans has since taken umbrage with those comments and publicly called out Lynch on her X account:
"Dont hate the player. Hate the game. The only person who *shoot cried more than you was the baby I had on my hip while taking all the opportunities. If/when I come back.....you will STILL do nothing but gently shake my hand and say "how cute my little family is" backstage."

Evans, whose real name is Macey Estrella-Kadlec, claimed to have attempted hitting her Women's Right finishing move on Lynch but the Irish star 'cried':
"I tried. She cried for 2 hours...then no sold."
She then replied to a video of Lynch hitting a moonsault and Michael Cole's commentary description of the move:
"Over 20 years grinding.....and this is the flip? Try again Michael."
Lynch defeated Evans at WWE Money in the Bank in May 2019, only for the latter to eventually cost her the SmackDown Women's Championship after interfering in a match in which Charlotte Flair reclaimed the title.
Evans doesn't seem likely to be returning to pro wrestling anytime soon but has been busy since leaving WWE. She has opened her own café in South Carolina named 'Sunny Summers Cafe' and published a book titled 'The Last Heart Beating'. She spent five years with the promotion and was expected to be a long-term member of the women's roster but a push diminished halfway through her main roster run.
The 35-year-old's cafe was planned to help address community problems such as mental health and addiction. The former USMC veteran and member of the military police is married with two daughters.
