When he was starting out in pro wrestling, Ludwig Kaiser never thought a WWE career would be possible for him. Kaiser signed with WWE in 2017 and has gained momentum as a singles competitor on the Raw roster over the past year. While appearing on a new episode of Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Kaiser explained how he ended up being offered a WWE contract. He credited William Regal for helping to make it happen. “The story that I’ve heard is that WWE was looking for a German wrestler, and they scheduled a tour through Germany to look at talent and go through all the different wrestling schools and stuff,” Kaiser said. “Apparently, Mr. William Regal — who I’m always going to be grateful for that — saw my name on the list and he knew my dad [the late Axel Dieter].
