Former AEW Women’s World Champion and 2024 Women’s Owen Hart Cup winner, Mariah May, made her WWE debut on the June 3 NXT. This comes after weeks of speculation on what May would do next. Conversations around May’s future ramped up when AEW removed her profile from the roster page, with many believing ‘The Glamour’ was WWE-bound.
The NXT women’s division recently experienced a major change when Jacy Jayne defeated Stephanie Vaquer to become the new NXT Women’s Champion. The June 3 edition of NXT saw a majority of the women’s roster come out, with hopes of claiming their shot.
This led to a brawl on the outside of the ring before the lights went out, before NXT’s newest acquisition was revealed.

Mariah May had considerable mic time, and she made the most of it. She immediately let it be known that she will be coming for the NXT Women’s Championship currently held by Jacy Jayne.
May also claimed that she would make NXT more “glamorous”. But, perhaps notably, there was no mention of her name from either her or the commentary team. This could mean that she could undergo a name change similar to Ricky Saints.
At present, it seems that all signs point to May serving as Jayne’s first title challenger, and it could happen sooner rather than later.
SHE'S HERE!!!
THE NXT WOMEN'S DIVISION JUST GOT A LOT MORE GLAMOROUS!!!
