Even if you didn’t watch this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, chances are you still saw one of the funniest moments on the show — Brock Lesnar slipping and falling during his entrance (he didn’t get hurt, so it’s all good to laugh). The other funny thing about that was the way his friend Paul Heyman just stared down at him. Speaking of Paul Heyman, he recently spoke about the incident on Stephen A. Smith’s weekday morning sports debate show, First Take.
Paul Heyman comments on Brock Lesnar slipping and falling during WWE RAW this week:“I think it is a GOAT move, and the reason why I think it is a GOAT move is because we all fumble at some point in the game. We all do. There’s no such thing as someone who doesn’t fumble in… pic.twitter.com/jQYHWoa5BN— WrestlePurists (@WrestlePurists) November 26, 2025
Heyman said that because when Lesnar got up, he was smiling, it was a Goat move. According to the longtime manager, the reason why Lesnar fell was that there was water on the entranceway. Heyman can turn anything into gold. Lesnar, of course, isn’t the first wrestler to fall while coming to the ring, but that doesn’t make it less funny. Lesnar has been accident-prone since his return. When he hit an F-5 on R-Truth, he ripped his jeans. It was on an episode of SmackDown. Heyman said:
“I think it is a GOAT move, and the reason why I think it is a GOAT move is because we all fumble at some point in the game. We all do. There’s no such thing as someone who doesn’t fumble in life. Brock Lesnar turned a fumble into a touchdown just like that. There’s no one like him. He’s one of one. There was water on the entranceway—slips, falls, rolls through, comes up, and there he is, smiling and coming down to the ring for war. Who else could do that but Brock Lesnar?” (h/t: WrestlePurists)
As noted, Lesnar first came back at the end of the 2025 SummerSlam PLE and then faced John Cena at Wrestlepalooza — the first PLE in the ESPN Era — on September 20. Fans wouldn’t see him until the November 17 episode of WWE Raw, where he would align himself with The Vision, Drew McIntyre, and Logan Paul for Survivor Series: WarGames. That same night, Roman Reigns would also return and join the other side’s team.
Lensar, Paul, McIntyre, and the Vision’s Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker will be facing Reigns, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, and Jey and Jimmy Uso in the Men’s WarGames match. The PLE is set for this Saturday, November 29, at Petco Park in San Diego, California.
Other matches set for the event include John Cena defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Dominik Mysterio, the Women’s WarGames match, and Stephanie Vaquer will be defending her Women’s World Title against WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella. So it should be a fun show. Hopefully, it will go smoothly for Lesnar, too.
