Randy Orton Refutes MGK’s SummerSlam Confrontation Story

Randy Orton has recently dismissed all that MGK shared about him during the WWE SummerSlam brawl. MGK shared this story on Logan Paul’s Impulsive podcast, saying it happened on the day of the event in the ring, and his friends weren’t sure if it was real. Orton’s denial has brought out more curiosity and discussions among WWE fans and the micro-processing theory has become a subject of interest and many are tempted to see what exactly happened backstage.

In the podcast, Logan Paul asked if MGK was telling truths especially when he asked him if he truly met with Randy Orton. MGK confidently confirmed the event, though he was uncertain about LoganPaul‘s whereabouts at the time, MGK recounted,

I remember all my boys were sitting there like, is this real, is this part of the script? I don’t know what’s happening. The amount of people that pin me as the aggressor in every situation that I’m in are so wrong

He added that people often mischaracterize him as the aggressor in situations, implying that this incident was another example of such a misconception.

Randy Orton’s Response

In response to MGK’s claims, Randy Orton took to social media to refute the rapper’s story. MGK, however, remained adamant about his version of events. He responded by challenging WWE to release footage of the incident, stating,

Camera’s were rolling tell WWE put that out and you have my number, and you know why you have it btw but i won’t even put you on blast for that. Check your texts.

MGK didn’t stop there, hinting at private communication between him and Randy. These mysterious messages also made the audience attend further than what was divulged in the public domain, but MGK happened to keep his additional story to himself.

The contrived face-off of him and MGK turned out to be an extra spice that enticed drama in an already dramatic WWE SummerSlam event. LA Knight defeated Logan Paul in the WWE United States championship at the event. MGK’s contribution in the match came in such a way providing Paul with brass knuckles with which Paul tries to take down Knight. However, the plan fell on its face when Knight came from behind and got a pin-fall victory via his finishing move called BFT.

The rivalry between Randy Orton and MGK has created a lot of buzz leading up to SummerSlam, making WWE fans question if the showdown was just an act. Even though MGK does not doubt the incident happened, His disconfirmation of the alleged event puts the rapper in a rather awkward position.
