Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins recently spoke about his current recovery timeline. Rollins and his wife, WWE megastar Becky Lynch, were guests on comedian Bert Kreischer’s show, “Something’s Burning,” and that’s where Rollins brought up his timeline.
Seth Rollins gives an update on his recovery timeline:“Once I get this [arm sling] off, which is in like another month, then it might be full vacation mode for a little while before I like lock in and have to start training to get ready to come back. It'll probably be gradual.… pic.twitter.com/XPUjjKty0Z— WrestlePurists (@WrestlePurists) November 26, 2025
Rollins told Kreischer he’s hoping that he can get back to training by February 2026 to be ready for WrestleMania 42, which is April 18 and April 19, 2026. One can’t blame him for wanting to be at the biggest show of the year. He said:
“Once I get this [arm sling] off, which is in like another month, then it might be full vacation mode for a little while before I like lock in and have to start training to get ready to come back. It'll probably be gradual. I don't even really know. It'll be—my guess is about 8 to 12 weeks of like, ‘Okay, now I have to stop eating like an a**hole.’ Probably 12 weeks. Plus, we’ll be moving right into WrestleMania season. So I'm hoping around February, after all the holiday stuff, I can start to be like, ‘Okay, lock in. No more BS.’ Give myself a month before I come back-ish, maybe—don't even know. They say six months, so this could be April.” (h/t: WrestlePurists)
If Rollins does make it back to the ring by WrestleMania 42, where would he fit in? Maybe a surprise return during CM Punk’s title match. As noted, because of his shoulder injury, Rollins had to relinquish the Heavyweight Title, and then on November 1, it was Jey Uso versus Punk for the vacated WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Salt Lake City, Utah. Punk defeated Jey to become the champion. So a vindictive Rollins might want to ruin a title match.
Rollins injured his shoulder during his match against Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel: Perth on October 11. The Raw after Crown Jewel then had Rollins’ Vision stablemates, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker, turn on their leader and attack him. It was a good way to write Rollins out so he could get his shoulder fixed.
Now, The Vision is teaming up with Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, and Brock Lesnar to face Rhodes, Punk, Roman Reigns, and Jey and Jimmy Uso, this Saturday, November 29, in a WarGames match at Survivor Series. Becky Lynch is going to be part of the women's WarGames match. She's teaming with Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend.
