  • The Wyatt Sicks may return to SmackDown soon in honor of Bray Wyatt's birthday.
  • Waiting for creative ideas to bring back members like Erick Rowan and Bo Dallas.
  • WWE exploring fresh creative pitches to provide meaningful direction for the group.

WWE fans could soon witness the long-awaited return of The Wyatt Sicks, as speculation mounts following a report from PWInsider that the faction might be on their way back to SmackDown. The report includes the words “sooner than you think.", teasing that they might be back on Friday's episode of SmackDown and in celebration of the late Bray Wyatt's birthday.

Is WWE Bringing Back The Wyatt Sicks To Honor Bray Wyatt?

It's unclear if the rumored return is meant to be permanent or just an emotional moment as part of a recognition of what would have been the 38th birthday of Windham Rotunda, better known to fans as Bray Wyatt. Rotunda tragically passed away in August 2023, and The Wyatt Sicks were created in June 2024 as a tribute to his legacy. There are several WWE fans taking to social media, suggesting that if WWE didn't honor Wyatt, it would be a disappointing turn of events.

With members Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, and Nikki Cross all ready to return and waiting for the right creative to be presented, tonight's episode of SmackDown makes a lot of sense. Reports confirmed that Bo Dallas has been medically cleared to wrestle again following a previous injury. There is nothing holding the company back from moving forward, except a lack of ideas. The report suggests that several creative ideas have been pitched.

Can WWE And Triple H Make This Group Finally Matter?

Symbolically, this group is extremely important. Creatively, WWE hasn't succeeded in making them relevant. According to sources, fresh creative pitches are being explored to address the criticisms and provide the faction with more meaningful direction. The hope is that WWE has found the direction it wants to go and make the most of it with a continued push. The group deserves better, even if part of the reason they were removed from television was Uncle Howdy's untimely injury.

As for whether Alexa Bliss will be part of what happens with the group, time will tell.
