TNA iMPACT Preview (12/4/25) – The Go-Home Episode for TNA Final Resolution 2025

TNA Final Resolution 2025 is just around the corner, with a strange taste of NXTNA Showdown. Sheriff Robert Stone decided to bring a slew of renegades to the iMPACT Zone. Not only have they invaded TNA, but they now target some of the TNA titles. Luckily, TNA has the best Sheriff in the world in Santino Marella. Who else can make Mila Miracles?

Last night on NXT, Leon Slater and Je’Von Evans had an excellent bout against DarkState, supported by Myles Borne and Joe Hendry. Slater was about to pin Osiris Griffin when Borne cut him off and earned the right to choose his spot at NXT Deadline in the Iron Survivor Challenge.

Crossing the lines also means crossing the reviews. NXT Deadline may be a WWE event; taking a look at what happens on NXT on Tuesday nights has become essential to understanding what may happen on Thursday nights. That’s never been truer, and it keeps on being bigger and bigger.

The Stakes at TNA Wrestling

Eight-man tag team warfare erupts as The Hardys, Steve Maclin, and Cedric Alexander unite against NXT’s Lexis King, Stacks, Tyson Dupont, and Tyriek Igwe. With brand pride and momentum on the line just one day before Final Resolution, expect all-out chaos when these two squads collide.

The Knockouts Division heats up as Dani Luna battles Xia Brookside in a #1 Contender’s Match to determine who will challenge Léi Ying Lee for the Knockouts World Championship at Final Resolution. Luna’s momentum is soaring, but Brookside is determined to steal the spotlight and punch her ticket to a title opportunity.

Two of the most dynamic high-flyers in the world collide as Mustafa Ali goes one-on-one with Trey Miguel in a match that promises total nonstop action. With Ali representing Order 4 and Miguel flying the flag for The Rascalz, momentum is up for grabs before the top factions collide at Final Resolution.

Mike Santana returns to action just 24 hours before Final Resolution as he faces NXT’s Robert Stone. Santana has vowed to take out the NXT outsiders one by one, and it all starts with Stone this Thursday.

TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater joins AJ Francis and Rich Swann on The FIR$T CLA$$ PENTHOU$E. Fresh off a huge eight-man tag team victory on NXT, Slater must now refocus on his X-Division Title challenger at Final Resolution, AJ Francis.

The beloved Home Town Man takes on NXT’s Brooks Jensen in a high-energy clash inside the iMPACT! Zone. After a memorable showing in the Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl, HTM looks to keep the good times rolling, but Jensen is hungry to make a statement.

The Nygma’s View

With five matches and a segment, I think the recipe for a good show is there. It’s a go-home episode, so every single moment of the episode will be focused on Final Resolution.

Dani Luna will face Xia Brookside to determine who will face Léi Ying Lee the day after at TNA Final Resolution. As you read my previews and reviews religiously, you know it was the exact scenario I had in mind. On paper, Dani Luna is definitely the strongest but think Angel Warriors again. Nygma says: I don’t know how she will make it, but Xia Brookside vs. Léi Ying Lee is the match I want to watch at Final Resolution.

AJ Francis welcomes his Final Resolution opponent in a new First Class Penthouse segment. I could be tempted to stop there because we all know what’s going to happen, but that would be missing something. Rich Swann may have lost the TNA X-Division Championship match at TNA Victory Road, but I’m sure he has had the utmost respect for Leon Slater ever since. Nygma says: Yes, it will end up badly, but more for Francis than Slater.

Mustafa Ali faces Trey Miguel. Again, I could be tempted to stop there because we all know what’s going to happen. The Rascalz vs. Order 4 will take place at TNA Final Resolution. Nygma says: Unless both teams are banned from the ringside, it will end up a brawl, as usual.

On the NXT vs TNA side

Mike Santana faces Sheriff Robert Stone. The ones who remember ‘The Dukes of Hazzard” will understand what follows: Robert Stone is worse at the job than Rosco P. Coltrane himself. We know how hard it was for Santana to lose the TNA World title in such a bad manner. Nygma says: I believe in Boricua, mostly when he spanks the Sheriff for me.

The Hardys, Cedric Alexander, and Steve Maclin team up against NXT’s Lexis King, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, Tyson Dupont, and Tyriek Igwe. The NXT Renegades are very good at cheating, including Stacks, aka Santino Marella’s future son-in-law. Nygma says: I’m not keen on matches with more than four people in a ring. Sorry, but the TNA guys will be screwed.

The Home Town Man faces NXT’s Brooks Jensen. I’ve been reviewing NXT for a few weeks now, and I’ve never seen this EVOLVE talent wrestling. Nygma says: My heart beats for The Home Town Man, like Cody Deaner, but as I don’t know what Brooks Jensen is capable of, I will stay on my guard.

It’s surgery time in Nygma land, so I’ll see you as soon as I can. Till then, may the Nygma be with you.
