Karrion Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux are facing an uncertain contract situation, with their current WWE deals set to expire next month. The good news, according to Fightful Select, is that despite no official confirmation of new agreements, several within WWE believe the duo will remain with the company.
Didn’t ask for shortcuts.Didn’t ask for favors. We just showed up—every time—staying ready even when no one was watching.Saudi Arabia, you saw it.You felt it.And that means more than you know.To the rest of the world watching,With your never ending support;Thank you… pic.twitter.com/gOTC8ajdDj— Kevin Robert Kesar (@realKILLERkross) June 29, 2025
Interestingly, as their merchandise sales are through the roof and recent appearances on television programs and premium live events have increased, the pair of WWE superstars have reportedly not yet been signed to new contracts. Both suffered setbacks during earlier runs, and recent WWE releases led to speculation they could be next. However, Kross found a niche online, posting interviews and video clips that caught the attention of the WWE Universe. There was a groundswell of support for him to get another look in WWE, which the company seems to be trying.
They have since re-established themselves as regular fixtures on WWE programming, even with small segments and little in-ring action. It wasn't until a feud with Sami Zayn that Kross got back into the squared circle on a major show, appearing at a major WWE event in Saudi Arabia. He made the most of it, and expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the support from fans.
During an interview on Busted Open Radio, he said:
“To have that sort of response was amazing. I knew I would be able to turn at least half the arena and make sure they were going to stay behind Sami when we were out there."
Scarlett also thanked the WWE Universe, writing, “I’ve watched [him] give everything. For years. For this. Saudi Arabia, you saw him. You felt him. You respected him. And as someone who knows what he’s worth, THANK YOU. I’ve never been more proud.”
Kross has more than earned an extension with WWE. He's made the most of little opportunities and willed himself back into the spotlight. He noted on social media, “Didn’t ask for shortcuts. Didn’t ask for favors. We just showed up—every time—staying ready even when no one was watching. Saudi Arabia, you saw it. You felt it. And that means more than you know. To the rest of the world watching, with your never-ending support; thank you for reminding us who this is really for.”
The timing of the contract expiration comes as both individuals seem to have leverage in negotiations.
