Two Intriguing WWE Predictions For 2026

The year 2025 in WWE was, of course, centered around John Cena’s retirement tour. While that was the obvious highlight of the year, so much more took place. There were many returns in the women’s division, including Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch, Asuka, and AJ Lee. Towards the end of the year, there has also been more showcasing of the up-and-coming talent on the roster.

Those occurrences could continue in 2026, as younger talents solidify themselves, and women who were once at the apex attempt to reclaim their position. Here are two predictions for WWE in 2026.

1) The Vision Will Capture Every Championship

The takeover of the current iteration of The Vision might begin on January sixth in Brooklyn. World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk, will be defending his title against the future of Monday Night Raw, Bron Breakker. The two-time Intercontinental Champion looks more focused than ever, and with the Oracle, Paul Heyman, in his corner, the sky is the limit for Breakker and The Vision.

Every superstar that aligns with Heyman seems to reach the pinnacle of the WWE, perhaps most notably, a young Brock Lesnar. Under the mentorship and guidance of Heyman, Lesnar became, at the time, the youngest WWE champion at the age of 25.

Heyman will now look to guide not just Breakker to the top, but the rest of the faction. Logan Paul and Bronson Reed have shown much promise in their young careers, with a US title run and victory over Roman Reigns, respectively. The masked assailant, who turned out to be Austin Theory, is not officially a member of The Vision, but after proving himself to Heyman, it will likely happen soon.

Theory and Reed worked well together in their first tag match, and that could be a bit of foreshadowing. Paul has already held the mid-card title on SmackDown and could be in line to do so on Raw as well. The Vision holding all the gold at some point in 2026 is a strong possibility.

2) Bianca Belair Ends Jade Cargill’s Title Reign

Jade Cargill has been an unstoppable force for nearly two months, which began at Saturday Night’s Main Event in early November. Cargill picked up a dominant victory over Tiffany Stratton to become the WWE Women’s Champion for the first time in her career. Since then, Cargill has had two singles matches, where B-Fab and Alba Fyre basically jobbed for the champ.

A rivalry is currently building between Cargill and Michin, but the latter is not truly over with the WWE universe, so it is unlikely to go anywhere. Many WWE fans are frustrated by Cargill’s current run, feeling that the matches are uninteresting and the booking is subpar.

Cargill could face off with another powerhouse soon, with former women’s champion Bianca Belair getting closer to returning. The EST has been out of action since WrestleMania after suffering a broken knuckle. Belair was the special guest referee at Evolution for a No Holds Barred match between Cargill and Naomi, but has not made an appearance in WWE since.

Belair recently spoke about her injury on 106 and Sports, admitting that the damage was more severe than she thought, but she is hopeful that a return can happen soon.

Soon could very well be next month at the Royal Rumble. WWE could utilize the same formula from the last rumble, in which Flair made her highly anticipated return and emerged victorious. Having Belair win the 30-woman bout and selecting Cargill as her opponent would finally lead to the rivalry teased two years ago. Belair could then put her former friend’s title reign to an end at WrestleMania 42.

End Of My WWE Rant

WWE plans to start 2026 with a bang as numerous title matches are currently on the card for the first Raw of the new year. In one of those title bouts, the young Maxxine Dupri will look to prove that her victory over Becky Lynch was not a fluke. There is definitely a youth movement on the main roster, which many WWE fans had been clamoring for throughout 2025.

There is still room for veterans to shine, too, and everyone loves it when a superstar returns to the squared circle. That is especially true when the star is someone who was once at the summit of the company. A Belair comeback could provide an essential spark to the SmackDown women’s roster.

The year 2026 could be a thrilling year for WWE. Hopefully, management will listen to what the fans are asking for by showcasing the right stars and booking them correctly.
