Why an Usos WWE Reunion is Best for Both of Them

The Usos are one of the greatest tag teams in WWE history. They are three-time WWE Raw Tag Team Champions and five-time WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions. The duo also has the longest tag team reign with a 622-day SmackDown tag title run from July 2021 until April 2023. However, they have been in singles action over the last couple of months. That hasn’t stopped them from reuniting to help each other or their family out.

On September 1, 2025, an episode of Monday Night Raw, Jey Uso and LA Knight lost to the Visions’ Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. As always, Breakker and Reed coordinated a post-match attack. But Jimmy Uso came out to help his brother, who remarked that he needed him. It seems like we are getting a Usos tag team comeback. At this point, that’s exactly what they both need.

Jey Uso’s Popularity Can Give Them a Boost

For over 15 years, Jey and Jimmy Uso have been dominant in WWE action. As a tag team, they have accomplished many things and gained tons of fans. But when Jey switched from SmackDown to Raw in September 2023, he was truly separated from his brother. He had to go on a singles run with many people doubting his abilities. But he quickly proved those doubters wrong. He took home multiple singles titles, becoming Intercontinental Champion in September 2024 and World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania 41.

The latter achievement became possible when he won the 2025 Royal Rumble by eliminating John Cena. Armed with a catchy theme song and a cool catchphrase, the audience erupts every time he enters an arena. His singles run has proven that he is capable of wrestling on his own. Reuniting with his brother could take his popularity to new heights.

Jimmy Uso Can Finally Get Away from Solo Sikoa’s MFT

Coming out of WrestleMania XL, things were not going well for Jimmy Uso. He just lost to his brother, something that was probably embarrassing for him. The one good thing was that he had his other brother, Solo Sikoa, in his corner. But things quickly turned bad, as a debuting Tama Tonga took him out of action for months. He returned at Bad Blood last year, and since then has been fighting the MFTs, which is Sikoa’s version of the Bloodline.

They’ve thrown nearly every match in the book at him since then – singles matches, tag team matches, triple threat matches, even a WarGames match. His move to Raw, suggesting Monday’s appearance isn’t a one-off, means he’ll be on the red brand for the first time since 2019. He’ll be able to team alongside his brother in fresh matches without any MFTs lurking to ruin his night.

The Usos Joining Forces is Good for Both of Them

Over the past couple of months, both of the Usos have had much success in singles competition. Jey Uso has been dominating on Raw, while Jimmy Uso has been picking up wins on SmackDown. But when the opportunity presented itself, the two men joined together like they had for so many years. This time is different, though. Not just because of the huge threat looming over them in the Vision, but because of Jey’s remark to Jimmy. He wants the tag team to reform in order to take down Breakker and Reed properly.

What they did to Roman at Clash in Paris is unforgivable to him, which is why he needs Jimmy at this point. Getting both of them back together will not only hopefully take down the Vision but remind everyone that they are a great tag team.
