WrestleMania 41: Top 3 Women’s Matches

The women’s matches of WrestleMania 41 are going to be legendary. The build-up of the matches I’m about to discuss are rivalries that have had friendships broken and can not be repaired. The grandest stage of them all can change the trajectory of one’s career or make one a forgotten stepping stone.  With that being said, let’s look at my top 3 women’s matches of WrestleMania 41.

Women’s World Championship Match- Bianca Belair v Rhea Ripley v Iyo Sky (C)

This WrestleMania 41 match has changed three different times regarding who the participants are. Belair won the women’s Elimination Chamber Match to punch her ticket. Most people thought she would face Ripley in a one-on-one match, but that went up in smoke after a shocking victory by Iyo Sky on Raw, when she beat Ripley. So, that would make it Belair vs. Sky for the Women’s World Title, but Ripley would not be denied. She interrupted the contract signing and signed it herself.

GM Adam Pearce then gave Ripley her rematch in a match where Belair would be the special guest referee, which would spiral out of control into chaos. It started when Ripley accidentally kicked Belair in the chest, causing her to fall out of the ring. Then, Ripley hit Rip Tide on Sky, leading to a pin with no ref to count. It would only get worse to the point where Belair would call off the match. That left Pearce with one way to fix this. Making it a triple threat at WrestleMania 41.

WWE Women’s Championship- Tiffany Stratton (C) V Charlotte Flair

This match features two superstars on completely different spectrums in terms of career championship reigns. Stratton, who won her first WWE Women’s Title just this year on January 3 on SmackDown, cashed in her Money in the Bank contract on Nia Jax to win her first title. Flair, on the other hand, is a 14-time WWE Women’s Champion. That is the current record for the women’s division. The Blonde Bombshell and The Queen will battle it out in what should be a great match at WrestleMania 41.

Jade Cargill V Naomi

This match is a more personal rivalry because of the very close friendship these two had at one point. This goes back to a night in November when Cargill was ambushed and attacked by being thrown onto a car windshield. Over the following weeks, it was speculated that Liv Morgan was the one who attacked Jade. Naomi, Belair, and Cargill were all best friends. Belair was persuaded by Naomi to believe that it was Liv who attacked Jade.

It was finally Elimination Chamber, but before it could start, Jade Cargill made her return. Naomi and Moragn were the two to start the match. Before the chamber could be closed, Cargill entered and attacked Naomi. Belair was in a pod in total shock at what had just happened. In the next episode of Smackdown, Belair asked Naomi: “Did you do it?” Naomi responded by trying to beat around the bush, but Belair was not having it. She said, “Is it a yes or no?”

Then it came out that Cargill attacked Naomi because she felt Jade was coasting off the success of her and Belair. That was it for Belair as she walked out and gave Jade the nod to attack Namoi. Friends that became mortal enemies and now will face off at WrestleMania 41 to settle the score once and for all.

Final Thoughts and Predictions

These three matches are the ones I feel are going to be the most entertaining. They all have the most build-up and now for my predictions. I think Jade will defeat Naomi. I see Flair her 15th Championship, and Belair winning her fourth Women’s title. Stay tuned for all things WrestleMania 41 on Total Apex Sports.
