WWE is once again returning to world of competition/reality TV with the newly-announced ‘WWE LFG’ series that will air on A&E. The primary goal of LFG (which stands for “Legends & Future Greats”) will be “mentoring the next generation of athletes” and will include Triple H, the Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Booker T, Bubba Ray Dudley, and the returning Mickie James. It will debut in “early 2025.” From The Wrap, “the existing legends will mentor aspiring wrestlers as they compete in the ring with WWE contracts on the line. The series will also feature behind-the-scenes content of their training process.” It’s unclear if this will mainly focus on those currently at the Performance Center or if it will involve any athletes currently under the new WWE ID contracts. For James, it will be her first WWE on-screen work since appearing in the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble. Her husband, Nick Aldis, is the on-screen general manager for WWE SmackDown.
