WWE will be returning to Australia next year, their first trip to the country since 2018. They will hold the Elimination Chamber premium live event on Saturday, February 24, from the Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia. However, the company has struggled with ticket sales.

Past shows

WWE previously held the Super Show-Down event at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, Australia, which was headlined by Triple H vs. The Undertaker.

The company is planning for Elimination Chamber to be a very early morning show, likely starting at 6 a.m. Eastern and 3 a.m. Pacific.

Ticket sales

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that WWE has started minor ticket discounts with a free ticket with three tickets purchased, as the show has sold 7,805 tickets. Tickets went on sale to the general public on October 29.

The stadium holds up to 70,000 fans for concerts, while WWE could fit in around 55,000 fans with a stage. This is the latest city to pay WWE to hold an event in the local market.

WWE previously announced that The Undertaker will also do a live show the night before.
