WWE legend Ric Flair is fed up with ESPN analyst Paul Finebaum, and not for the first time. The retired wrestler and avid college football fan took to social media on Saturday afternoon promptly following the Texas-Ohio State game to call for Finebaum's "expulsion" from the network over his recent takes on the Longhorns.
Initially taking umbrage with the ESPN show host's lack of faith in former Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh's successful move to the NFL, Flair is now upset over Finebaum's "insane" prediction that Texas would crush Ohio State. The No. 3 Buckeyes defeated the No. 1 Longhorns 14-7 in the much-hyped matchup.
"Dear Mr. Finebaum, As Usual, You Are The Most Absurd & Incompetent Analyst In All of College Football," Flair posted on X. "I'll Take Heather Dinich @CFBHeather Any Day Over You. You Should Be Expelled From @ESPN. Every Time I See You On The TV, I Turn It Off. You Have 22,000 Followers. I have 9.3 Million Followers.
"The Fact That You Would Call Out Jim Harbaugh @CoachJim4UM Last Year And Say That He Will Never Be Able To Coach In The Pros And Now He Will Probably Win A Super Bowl! And The Fact That You Are Predicting That Texas Will Murder Ohio State Is Insane! Go Look In The Mirror And Find Something Else To Do For A Living. So Embarrassing!"

On ESPN's "First Take" program last week, Finebaum told his fellow analysts he didn't believe the top-3 matchup would "even be close."
"I think Vegas is completely wrong," Finebaum said. "I really don't even think that this game is going to be close. I'm not trying to tank viewership for it. It's a big event, one of the biggest games we have seen, but I think Texas' roster is better, and I think Ohio State is going to be hungover from last year with a new quarterback. And by the way, two new coordinators as well."
The Buckeyes' new quarterback Julian Sayin, nor the new coordinators, proved to be an issue on Saturday. Ohio State's defense locked up the Longhorn offense, first holding Steve Sarkisian's group scoreless through three quarters , then allowing just one touchdown to close out the game. Starting quarterback Arch Manning ended the game 17-for-30 passing with 170 yards, one touchdown and one interception. He also ran for 38 yards on 10 carries and took one sack.
With the defending national champions now 1-0 and likely on their way to the top spot in the top 25 rankings, Finebaum will be singing a different song about the Buckeyes when he hits the airwaves on Monday. However, it doesn't sound like Ric Flair will tune in either way.
