WWE Legend's Family Refute Demolition's Disturbing Story About Mr. Fuji And A Dog
Orient Express and Mr Fuji in WWE.

The WWE locker room is a very different place today than it was 30 years ago. Certain veterans might try to convince you that's a bad thing, but the stories Demolition have been telling about their old manager, Mr. Fuji, suggest otherwise. The WWE legends spoke at length about the Hall of Famer during a recent episode of their podcast, claiming a disturbing urban myth about the Hall of Famer to be true. However, the family of the wrestler at the center of that myth has refuted Demolition's claims.

Demolition Claim Mr. Fuji Fed A Wrestler Their Own Dog

Barry Darsow, or Smash, revealed that the victim of Fuji's cruel prank was General Adnan Al-Kaissie. Al-Kaissie had apparently been stealing Fuji's sandwiches, and the Japanese star's way of getting back at him was to target his dog. Rumor has it Fuji killed Al-Kaissie's dog, put it in a sandwich, and tricked the wrestler into eating it, revealing the truth when he commented on how delicious it was.

Demolition's claims that this horrific story is true have forced Al-Kaissie's family to issue a statement. The wrestler passed away in 2023, but his family continues to run his Twitter account. "The story about Mr. Fuji killing and cooking our father’s dog is a tall tale that got passed around the wrestling circle. Our father said flat-out Fuji never touched his dog, and he had no idea how that rumor even started," a statement in response to a fan asking if the story is true reads.

Demolition Also Claimed Fuji Strapped Explosives To A Fellow Wrestler's Engine

Another Fuji story Demolition told on the podcast involved the manager taping as many as six M-80s (firecrackers) to the engine of SD Jones's car. According to Bill Eadie, or Ax, the explosion caused by the heat of the engine setting the explosives alight blew off the hood of the car. A story that's slightly easier to believe than someone killing and cooking another man's dog just because that man kept eating his lunch, but again, Eadie notes that Fuji is the one who told them that story.

Demolition's account of what happened, clashing with that of Al-Kaissie's family, means the dog rumor will likely remain one that some believe and others don't. Demolition spent a lot of time with Fuji, so it stands to reason they would know what he's capable of and how he might overreact to something. On the other hand, it sounds like Al-Kaissie's family is sick of the frankly ridiculous story, when you think about it, hence many likely choosing to believe it never happened.
