The eighth episode of season two of WWE LFG: Legends and Future Greats saw Shawn Michaels have the legends pick their top competitors and put them against each other to see who is the best.

At the beginning of the episode, Michaels and Bubba Ray Dudley shared that Elijah Holyfield is injured and out for the foreseeable future.

First Match: Zena Sterling vs. Sirena Linton

Before their match, Sirena Linton shared an update from her medical scare in the previous episode. According to Linton, she was accidentally choked out by Bayley Humphrey. When Humphrey put her in a gorilla press, she grabbed Linton by the throat, leading to the choke out.

Linton and Zena Sterling began their match with a lockup into chain wrestling, leading to a leg-lock takedown into an armbar by Sterling. She was able to break by pushing Sterling into the corner, but Sterling came back with an arm drag into another armbar.

Linton broke the lock with a face rake into a DDT for a close pin attempt. Sterling then surprised Linton with a rollup, which Linton countered into a headlock. Sterling hit another arm drag, but Linton got the upper hand again with body shots into clotheslines.

Linton climbed to the top rope for a sunset flip attempt. Sterling rolled out of the way, catching Linton. She hit Linton with a sidewalk slam for the victory.

Second Match: Harlem Lewis vs. BJ Ray

The match began with a quick lockup that turned into trash-talking. BJ Ray caught Harlem Lewis in a headlock, who reversed it into a scoop slam before the commercial break.

Ray gained the upper hand after the commercial break, this time being the one to have Lewis in a headlock. Booker T, Lewis’s coach, shared that both wrestlers were struggling with their roles in the match, as Ray was supposed to be the babyface, and Lewis was the heel.

Lewis got out of the headlock and stomped Ray out of the ring. The beatdown continued on the outside, as Lewis scoop slammed Ray on the floor. When Ray re-entered the ring, Lewis met him with a kick to the head. He locked a crossface onto Ray, who punched his way out and knocked him to the mat with an array of weak shoulder tackles.

Ray took his time running the ropes before hitting Lewis with an elbow drop. He went to suplex Lewis, who blocked the move. Lewis then attempted his suplex, only to be reversed into an inside cradle for a Ray victory.

Third Match: Penina Tuilaepa vs. Bayley Humphrey

The two strongest female wrestlers, Penina Tuilaepa and Bayley Humphrey, fought in a battle of the titans. The two started with a lockup into a deadlock. They exchanged pushes before Humphrey hit Tuilaepa with a scoop slam.

Humphrey missed a corner attack, leading to Tuilaepa tripping her to the outside. Tuilaepa then drove Humphrey into the barricade, followed by driving her into the side of the ring before tossing her back in.

Tuilaepa continued to work Humphrey’s back, putting her into an abdominal stretch. Humphrey reversed it with an arm drag. She threw Tuilaepa into the ropes, only for her to hit Humphrey with a spear.

Tuilaepa picked Humphrey up for a Samoan drop, leading to a two-count. She dragged Humphrey into the corner, climbing to the top rope and hitting her with punches. Humphrey grabbed Tuilaepa and hit her with a powerbomb for the victory.

Main Event: Shiloh Hill vs. Anthony Luke

Anthony Luke took the early advantage by sneak attacking Shiloh Hill during his entrance. He hit Hill with a strong elbow and strong punches in the corner. Hill was able to work his way out, hitting Luke with a barrage of clotheslines into a backdrop.

Luke attempted to reverse into a scoop slam, but Luke reversed that with a back body drop. Both wrestlers made it to their feet and began trading punches. Hill gained the momentum through numerous shoulder tackles into a neckbreaker.

He attempted to close the match out with a Russian leg sweep, but Luke had other plans. He raked Hill’s black eye, an injury he suffered earlier in the week, without the referee noticing. Luke hit Hill with a bookend for the hard-hitting win.

Final Results

For the women, Tuilaepa received three of the four votes to earn a point for Team McCool. For the men, it was Hill, and the point went to Team Undertaker.
