Here Are Your Key Moments From Monday Night Raw For October 6, 2025

  • Roman Reigns opens the show, but before he can begin speaking, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman appear from the back. Heyman asks Roman who's been helping him since he broke his heart, and tells him to acknowledge the Tribal Thief, the man he fears the most, Bronson Reed. He said Roman had never had a beating so bad that he had to be stretchered out until he faced Reed, who put him in the hospital. Reed takes the mic and says he wonders what the Wild Samoans would think about him being stretchered out. Roman says that Reed didn't know them, but Heyman did, and he asks him what his dad would say. Roman says he'd tell them to fight now, but Reed is stopped by Heyman. Roman tells Reed he's levels ahead of him and no matter what he wants to do, he's always going to be his Tribal Chief. Heyman says that Roman could have Reed at Crown Jewel in an Australian Street Fight, and Roman accepts. Roman provokes Reed and Heyman again, and Reed comes to the ring to square off.
  • Roman is seen backstage talking to The Usos. Jimmy says that he couldn't believe Reed was talking about their family, and Jey interrupts Jimmy to tell Roman he'll have his back at Crown Jewel. Jimmy looks visibly distressed, and Roman tells Jey he doesn't need his help. He says Jey should be focused on being back at the top, and that CM Punk was at the top of the hour, not him. Jey leaves to look into this. Roman looks at Jimmy and tells him he hears everything he says, and asks why it's an issue that Jey's taking advice from him. Jimmy looks back, reflecting on what everyone's thinking.
  • CM Punk comes to the ring to talk to the Dallas crowd, and tells the WWE Universe thank you for welcoming AJ Lee back. He tells the crowd he needs to earn his World Heavyweight Championship back, and tells Seth Rollins he's better than him, and he knows it. He tells the crowd he'll be the new champion as LA Knight's music hits. Knight tells Punk that he's been on top in WWE and still hasn't gotten what he's earned: a World Heavyweight Championship win. He compliments him on being a husband but calls him a trash champion, highlighting his two losses for the championship, and asks him who he's never pinned, and Punk tells him the same guy who's never been World Heavyweight Champion. Jey Uso appears in the ring to interrupt their back and forth, and tells them both that he's the next one up, never getting his rematch. Knight tells Jey's time came and went, and that it's his time. Knight tells Jey he's not going to be Roman Reigns and that's a good thing, and should go back to the tag team division. Jey delivers a superkick to Knight as Jimmy comes to the ring. Punk tells Jey that he loves Jey Uso, but he hates "Little Roman". Jimmy splits up Jey and Punk until Punk hits Jey, which earns him a superkick from Jimmy.
  • Seth Rollins is backstage with Becky Lynch, who was still reeling from her loss to Maxxine Dupri, and he tells Paul Heyman they need to talk. He asks Heyman what happens if he loses to Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel. Heyman tells him he loses the support of the locker room, The Vision, and becomes just a secondary champion. Rollins tells Heyman that he left himself out of the equation, to which Heyman responds by telling him that if he loses, he has to ask himself why he picked him over Roman Reigns.
  • Jey Uso is backstage with Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso, and Jey's anger boils over as he yells at Jimmy about coming out to the ring during his time in the ring. Jey yells at Jimmy to ask what side he's on. Jimmy tells Roman he sees him pulling the strings, and that he and Jey are nothing like him. Roman tells Jimmy he's not hearing him, but when Jey won that World Heavyweight Championship, he became more like him than like Jimmy, and if he wants to help him, he needs to stay out of Jey's way.

Jey Uso's Struggle For Power Continues

It's uncomfortable to watch the pull of Jey Uso towards the dark side, seemingly obsessed with his quest back to the top of the Raw division. After a mostly successful run as World Heavyweight Champion earlier this year, Jey's trajectory came to a screeching halt after losing his title back to Gunther.

Jey should know better than to fall prey to the pull of power and prestige after watching the madness that enveloped Roman Reigns during the height of The Bloodline. The lust for WWE Gold is strong, and Roman's influence on Jey is even stronger, but Jey can still be saved, so long as Jimmy gets through to him in time.

Maxxine Dupri Has The Match Of Her Career Tonight

One of the best parts about the two new Women's Championships that debuted last year was to help elevate some of the best talent on the roster. Perhaps no one has truly benefitted more from this opportunity than Maxxine Dupri, who had the best match of his career tonight against Women's Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch.

Showing an incredible in-ring performance, Dupri is very clearly putting the work in to improve, and this match highlighted her impressive efforts. Dupri has come a long way to prove her skills as a wrestler, and this match should quiet any doubters she may still have as a worthy opponent to Lynch and anyone else in her way.

The Four Way Dance For The Big Gold 2.0 Is Back On

While Jey Uso struggles with the demons inside, two more roadblocks stand in the way back to the Big Gold 2.0: CM Punk and LA Knight. Their build to take down Seth Rollins at Clash in Paris was perfectly done, becoming one of the best story threads on Raw, and now we appear to be back ahead of Crown Jewel.

Rollins' attention is firmly facing Cody Rhodes for the Crown Jewel Championship, but once that match is over this weekend, all three will be in his path again. Punk, Knight, and Uso all still have legitimate claims to the Championship, and running this back adds a layer to what has felt like a stagnant cycle in The Vision's path, one that potentially involves Roman Reigns.
