WWE
  • NXT Deadline hits San Antonio’s Boeing Center on Dec 6 — first San Antonio PLE since the 2023 Royal Rumble.
  • Iron Survivor Challenge returns; winner earns a title shot at NXT: New Year’s Evil.
  • Halloween Havoc shook NXT: Tatum Paxley, Blake Monroe, and DarkState won big; Saints and Page retained.

For the first time in two years, WWE is having a Premium Live Event in San Antonio, Texas — NXT Deadline. The company announced the news about NXT Deadline on Monday, October 27. It marks the last NXT PLE for the year.

NXT Deadline PLE’s Date And Location

The 2025 Deadline PLE is set for Saturday, December 6, at the Boeing Center in San Antonio, Texas. The last PLE to take place in the area was the 2023 Royal Rumble PLE. Tickets go on sale this week on Wednesday, October 29, at 10 a.m. CT.

Not surprisingly, Senior Vice President of Talent Development and Creative for the NXT brand, Shawn Michaels, was happy that it was going to be in his hometown. He wrote on X:

“Home sweet home in San Antonio. The countdown’s on for #NXTDeadline… time to see who delivers when every second counts.”

The official poster features NXT Champion Ricky Saints, Sol Ruca, NXT Women’s North American Champion Blake Monroe, Je’Von Evans, and two-time NXT Champion Trick Williams. It’s also been confirmed that the Iron Survivor Challenge will return. Last year’s winner for the men’s was Oba Femi and the women’s was Giulia. The winner earns a match for the NXT Championship and NXT Women's Championship, respectively, at NXT: New Year's Evil.

Several Titles Changed During The Last NXT PLE

WWE

This past Saturday, October 25, was the Halloween Havoc PLE. The event wasn’t a boring one. There were several title changes, including Blake Monroe, who defeated Zaria to become the new NXT Women’s North American Champion. Zaria had defended the title on behalf of Sol Ruca, who wasn’t medically clear to wrestle.

Matt and Jeff Hardy’s “broken” personas couldn’t help them retain the WWE NXT Tag Team Titles. They lost the titles to the former champions, DarkState’s Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin. The Hardys had been the NXT Tag Team Champions since defeating Lennox and Griffin on the October 7, 2025, episode of NXT.

One of the bigger title changes was the WWE NXT Women’s Championship. Tatum Paxley defeated Fatal Infelucen’s Jacy Jayne to become the NXT Women’s Champion. Before losing the title on Saturday, Jayne had been the champion since defeating Stephanie Vaquer on the May 27, 2025, episode of NXT. Now, Vaquer is on the main roster, and she’s the current WWE Women’s World Champion.

Ricky Saints and Ethan Page were the only ones to retain their titles. Page successfully retained the NXT North American Title against El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr in a Day of the Dead match, and Saints retained his title against Trick Williams.
