WWE President Nick Khan Praises Brock Lesnar's Return
John Cena vs Brock Lesnar in WWE
  • Nick Khan: WWE honored to have Brock Lesnar back; 'a gem' to work with.
  • Lesnar returned at SummerSlam, attacking John Cena after Cena lost the title to Cody Rhodes.
  • Since returning Lesnar has two matches: a lopsided Cena bout and a winning Survivor Series WarGames.

WWE SuperstarBrock Lesnaris getting some praise from WWE President Nick Khan. Khan was a guest on “The Daniel Cormier Show," and that’s where he spoke about how WWE was happy to have the Beast Incarnate back.

Nick Khan Says WWE Is Honored To Have Brock Lesnar Back

Khan was not only honored to have him back on the roster, but also said how easy it was to work with him. Lesnar has been back since SummerSlam, when he attacked John Cena after Cena lost the Undisputed WWE Title to Cody Rhodes. He said:

“As you know… when he walks into a room he looks, and usually is, the baddest dude on the planet. And that’s what he looks like and that’s his personification. “By the way, he’s a gem to work with — easy. So, as long as he sort of knows things in advance, there’s no issues. We’re honored to have him back. I’m happy he’s here.” (h/t: F4Wonline)

Most know already that the reason Lesnar was gone for those two years was that he was mentioned in the lawsuit that WWE employee Janel Grant filed against Vince McMahon and WWE. While the suit is still ongoing, WWE Legal stepped in and okayed Lesnar to return to the promotion. Before that happened, his last match was a loss against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023.

Brock Lesnar Has Wrestled Two Matches So Far

John Cena vs Brock Lesnar in WWE

While he has made some appearances on both Raw and SmackDown, Lesnar has currently wrestled in only two matches since his return. The first match was during WWE’s first PLE to stream on ESPN+. There, he faced Cena in what many would call a terrible one-sided match. It would have been okay if it had not been during Cena’s final WWE Tour.

The second match happened last Saturday, November 29. Lesnar isn’t really known to be in tag teams or groups, but he was part of the Men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series. He joined the team of Logan Paul, Bronson Reed, Drew McIntyre, and Bron Breakker. They won the match. Breakker pinned WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk for the win. Punk’s side included Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Jey and Jimmy Uso, and Roman Reigns.

For sure, one of the next times that Lesnar will be part of a WWE event is WrestleMania 42. There is also no doubt that he will be part of the Royal Rumble before that. Either way, if fans like it or not, Lesnar is not going anywhere.
