In an unbelievable series of events, WWE has officially announced that they have purchased the legendary Lucha Libre promotion AAA. Lucha Libre AAA World Wide is a promotion that seen notable Mexican stars go through their ranks and one of the top shows on an annual basis is their Triplemania show. WWE Purchases Lucha Libre AAA World Wide

During the Wrestlemania 41 Countdown show ahead of Night 1 of Wrestlemania 41 in Las Vegas, Nevada, it was announced that WWE has purchased Lucha Libre AAA World Wide. This is the first company acquistion in a while for the company as they have not been in that mode. However, this comes off the rumors first reported by WrestleVotes on X and later announced during the same show, that Lucha Libre AAA World Wide would be jointly running the next edition of “Worlds Collide” with WWE NXT on June, 7 at the KIA Forum.
