It’s time for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event! The 39th instalment takes place on Saturday, May 24 live from the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.

In the US, it is available to watch on NBC, Peacock, and internationally, it can be watched on Netflix. The event is set to begin at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT.

At the time of writing, four matches have been confirmed for the event, with only one of those being for a title. Here is all you need to know about the event and a preview of some of the matches.

Full WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Card

  • World Heavyweight Championship Match: Jey Uso (c) vs. Logan Paul
  • Singles Match: John Cena vs. R-Truth
  • Tag Team Match: CM Punk & Sami Zayn vs. Seth Rollins & Bron Breakker
  • Steel Cage Match: Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre

Jey Uso Defends Gold Against Logan Paul

World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso puts his title on the line against Logan Paul at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event 39. ‘The Maverick’ made his presence felt the night after WrestleMania, setting his sights on the newly crowned champion. After Uso successfully defended against Seth Rollins, Paul ambushed the champion, making his intentions crystal clear.

With Paul’s history of thriving on the big stage and Uso’s unstoppable momentum, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Will Jey’s championship run continue, or will The Maverick claim the crown for himself? Could this be the moment things change quite significantly in the WWE?

John Cena and R-Truth Meet in the Ring

A clash years in the making, R-Truth steps into the spotlight against his childhood hero, John Cena, at Saturday Night’s Main Event 39. Their shared history is one of friendship and mutual respect, but that took a sharp turn at Backlash. Truth shockingly inserted himself into Cena’s match against Randy Orton, preventing The Viper from delivering a match-ending punt and essentially handing Cena the victory, but ‘The Unseen 17’ was less than grateful.

The emotional weight of this bout is undeniable — a mix of admiration, betrayal, and long-standing history. For Cena, it’s about continuing his legendary reign and proving that no one — not even a former friend — can take his spotlight. For R-Truth, it’s about toppling the icon he once idolized, all in an effort to bring back the lovable side of him.

Expect emotions to run high, and the unexpected to unfold when these two collide at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Loaded Tag Team Match

Tensions will reach a boiling point at Saturday Night’s Main Event when CM Punk and Sami Zayn join forces to take on Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker in a high-stakes tag team clash. The fallout from WrestleMania still looms large, where Paul Heyman’s shocking betrayal of Punk and Roman Reigns handed Rollins the victory in their Triple Threat main event. Since then, Rollins aligned himself with Breakker, and Zayn has inserted himself into the situation.

Punk’s quest for revenge against Heyman’s new regime takes its first official step here, while Zayn looks for payback of his own. Meanwhile, Rollins and Breakker aim to continue asserting their dominance on Raw and WWE at large. Expect chaos, high emotion, and no shortage of physicality when these four collide in Tampa.
