WWE boasts a stacked roster with captivating storylines that keep fans hooked. Stephanie Vaquer, a standout from her NXT run, joined the main roster in 2025 and has already claimed the Women’s World Championship and the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship. While she thrives on Raw, several SmackDown Superstars are in desperate need of a career boost. Better storytelling could elevate these four performers to new heights.

The Street Profits

Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, collectively known as The Street Profits, have been a dynamic duo on SmackDown since 2016. Their nine-year journey includes notable successes, such as two SmackDown Tag Team Championship reigns and single reigns as Raw, NXT, and Evolve Tag Team Champions.

Despite rumors of a potential singles push for Montez, the team remains united but underutilized. Their recent feud with The Wyatt Sicks lacks the intensity their talent demands, and their impressive showings in ladder matches for tag team gold haven’t translated into meaningful opportunities. WWE must recognize its potential and craft compelling storylines to showcase its charisma and in-ring prowess before it’s too late.

Alba Fyre

Alba Fyre currently serves as the “Secret Hervice” for Chelsea Green, the inaugural Women’s United States Champion, on SmackDown. Previously, she teamed with Isla Dawn as The Unholy Union from 2023 to 2025 until Dawn’s release. Fyre possesses the skills to be a top-tier singles competitor, potentially even a WWE Women’s Champion.

Yet, WWE has relegated her to a lackey role, overshadowing her ability to dominate opponents with devastating in-ring moves. The company should pivot—perhaps through a dramatic betrayal of Green—to highlight Fyre’s talents and position her as a formidable singles star.

Giulia

Giulia burst onto the WWE scene at NXT Stand & Deliver 2024, making her in-ring debut at No Mercy 2024 by confronting then-NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez. Now, as the NXT Women’s Champion and Women’s United States Champion, “The Beautiful Madness” has held her title for 111 days but has rarely defended it.

Despite her experience since 2017 with New Japan Pro Wrestling, WWE has yet to fully capitalize on her potential on SmackDown. Giulia needs high-profile matches to cement her status as a top champion. Opponents like Kiana James or even Alba Fyre could provide the platform she needs to shine.

While WWE’s roster brims with talent, SmackDown’s storytelling often falls short, leaving many deserving Superstars in the shadows. It’s time for the company to address these booking issues and deliver the captivating narratives these performers deserve.
