WWE's WrestleMania Ranking Of Undertaker vs. Shawn Micheals Has Fans Irate

The list is counting down from 50, and with number 26 now confirmed, we have reached the halfway point. In at number 26 is The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 26. The final match of HBK's career as, after losing to The Deadman at WrestleMania the year prior, he put his career on the line in a rematch, famously stating that if he couldn't beat The Undertaker, he had no career.

It's one of the most famous, and objectively best, matches of all time, hence the reactions to WWE declaring there are 25 WrestleMania matches better than it going down like a lead balloon. The replies to the video where you can watch the match in full are almost unanimous in questioning how this match isn't ranked higher. Many claim it should be in the top ten, some believe it's top five, and a few think it's the greatest match in WrestleMania history.

There Is Still Another Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels WrestleMania Match To Come

We obviously don't know what 25 matches WWE will rank higher, but odds are this list is tainted from now on for a lot of people. Every time WWE adds another match to the list, fans will remember what match is 26th and question who believes the higher-ranked match is better. However, there's also a very real chance that a lot of the match placement's detractors are confusing it with Undertaker and HBK's other WrestleMania match.

The two also wrestled at WrestleMania 25, and that's the one that's considered by many to be the greatest match of all time, WrestleMania or otherwise. However, their rematch a year later is considered to be very close to the perfection that was the WrestleMania 25 match. That first match will almost certainly be on this list. WWE might even have ranked the rematch so low to make sure they're not too close together. If the WrestleMania 25 match is number one, some of the fans feeling disgruntled right now might feel a little better.
