Following a big week three of the XFL, there were some trades announced. There was one announcement regarding a three XFL teams trade. The three teams include the Arlington Renegades,  DC Defenders, and the Orlando Guardians. Here is a look at the trade, and how it can affect the three teams.

3 XFL Teams Trade

Arlington Renegades

The first of the XFL teams to discuss is the Arlington Renegades who received JaVonta Payton. Payton comes from the Orlando Guardians. Payton played college football at Mississippi State and Tennessee. The Renegades are 2-1 following their win this past weekend against the Orlando Guardians, and now add another offensive weapon to their roster. Maybe this can help a struggling team score more points, and push through the remainder of the season.

DC Defenders

The DC Defenders have acquired tight end Alex Ellis from the Arlington Renegades. Ellis played at Tennessee and does have NFL experience. The Defenders are 3-0 and have primarily only utilized one tight end in their passing game. They also have injuries on their offensive line and could use an extra tight end for blocking. This could potentially help boost the offense on one of the top XFL teams.

Orlando Guardians

The final of the three XFL teams who participated in this trade is the Orlando Guardians. The Guardians acquired offensive lineman T.J. Storment from the DC Defenders. Storment attended college at Texas Tech. The Guardians have yet to win a game, and adding another offensive lineman may be a step in the right direction for an offense struggling to get points on the board. Guardians quarterback Paxton Lynch was sacked four times, losing 28 yards last weekend, according to the XFL website. Adding a lineman can help avoid negative yards.

It is too soon to predict how this trade will work out for these three XFL teams. It is always interesting when there are three teams involved in one trade, and how each are affected. Be sure to watch week four of the XFL season to see if these players get a chance on their new teams.
