This shows the other side. Yes, there were failures. But the Patriots also landed two savvy, leadership-happy veterans in Andre Carter and Brian Waters to solidify the locker room. In essence, this year’s TE Alge Crumpler. “The beauty of Carter and Waters goes beyond the field,” Karen wrote today. “They have added a veteran presence in the locker room. They may not be captains, but they have already earned the kind of respect afforded any leader. A two-game losing streak doesn’t become three because of veteran leadership from players like Carter and Waters helping to set the tone for the week.
