According to FOXSports.com’s “Laces Out,” Aaron Hernandez’s alleged accomplice Carlos Ortiz has some connections to a Connecticut gang that refers to themselves as “DooWop.” You might be wondering what “DooWop’ is.  Well they did start a Facebook group. It’s a group of people known to congregate and live around the area of Davis Drive, a street in Bristol, Conn., a Connecticut law enforcement official confirmed to FOXSports.com. The official also said that certain members of the group consider themselves a gang.   Members in the group repeatedly reference Davis Drive, or “Double D,” in the Facebook posts.  Since 2008, multiple crimes – including murder and drug offenses – have been committed on this street. By the looks of the Facebook post below, Ortiz is pretty close to Hernandez. What’s really interesting about “DooWop” is they flash the same gang sign that Hernandez flashed in the photo below.   Below are some photos from “DooWop’s” Facebook page. Click to view slideshow. Even though Hernandez denied that he’s affiliated with any gangs, he’s clearly close enough to them to flash their signs and allegedly commit a murder with a member of a gang.     Need NFL Tickets?
