Found September 03, 2012 on That NBA Lottery Pick:
PLAYERS: Barack Obama
TEAMS: Miami Heat

As the 2012 United States Presidential race heats up, it appears that incumbent president Barack Obama decided to use an NBA comparison when talking about the current race between him and Republican nominee Mitt Romney.

Check out the analogy that he told one of the aides to tell the New York Times over the differences between him and Mitt:
No matter what moves Mr. Romney made, the president said, he and his team were going to cut him off and block him at every turn. “We’re the Miami Heat, and he’s Jeremy Lin,” Mr. Obama said, according to the aide.

Obama: Romney is Lin, I'm the Heat

A quote from earlier this year suggests that the commander-in-chief may not take his opponent's chances in November all that seriously.

Obama says Jeremy Lin is to Romney as he is to the Miami Heat

Obama is also known for using sports’ analogies to get his point across.Obama is quoted by a New York Times article saying, that he is the Miami Heat, while Republican nominee Mitt Romney is Jeremy Lin.“No matter what moves Mr. Romney made, he and his team were going to cut him off and block him...

President Obama Watched Louisville Play On Sunday

Apparently President Barack Obama watched the Louisville and Kentucky football game on Sunday afternoon. This is a Tweet from ESPN’s Carter Blackburn, who was one of the announcers for the game. If I were Blackburn, I wouldn’t be too excited that our nation’s leader watched that broadcast. After re-watching the game on television, I have to say that was one of the worst performances...

LeBron James quotes about throwing Liverpool a Vegas bash were fake

Liverpool is 0-2-1 through three games and off to its worst start in 50 years. Partial team owner LeBron James supposedly gave the team some incentive to turn the season around by promising them a party in Las Vegas co-hosted by him and Kanye West if they won it all, but it appears that the story was false. LeBron supposedly gave the following quotes to British tabloid The Sun,...

Barack Obama compares Mitt Romney to Jeremy Lin

The presidential race is heating up, and while I hope to include as little of that as possible on this site, this headline was too good to pass up. From the New York Times comes a quote from Barack Obama himself that will leave you scratching your head. No matter what moves Mr. Romney made, [...]

Publicist: LBJ didn't promise party to Liverpool

MIAMI LeBron James' publicist said Tuesday the quotes are false on James having promised Liverpool FC players a party in Las Vegas with he and Kanye West if they start winning games. The Miami Heat star owns a stake in the Liverpool team. But publicist Adam Mendelsohn told FOX Sports Florida that James didn't utter what the British newspapers The Sun and The Daily Mail...
